Norröna trollveggen thermo100 rescue Hood M’s Hawaiian surf

Developed in collaboration with NARG (The Norwegian alpine rescue team), this hooded jacket (656g M/L) is made for mountaineering and has all required features, durability and protection needed for their operations. It will also work great for all working in the mountains. Own color for rescue groups exist, and colors can be customized if volumes are higher. We use an aero down proof nylon as the face fabric because it provides an excellent combination of low weight, durability, and great wind protection. We use thermo insulation in the jacket because it offers insulation when wet and compressed and has good warmth-to-weight values. The face fabric is 100% recycled woven nylon 30D (49 g/m2). The four different weights of 100% thermo polyester insulation are: On the outer arms (40 g/m2), on the chest (60 g/m2), on the hood and inner sleeves (80 g/m2), and across the back and lower torso (100 g/m2). Key features include: Storm hood with one hand adjustments that is headphone and helmet compatible, a two-way front zipper, two large napoleon chest pockets with inside mesh pocket for radio and inside opening for an ear piece, two hand warming pockets, upper arm pocket on each side, two internal mesh pockets, one internal zip pocket, velcro patches on right chest and on the left sleeve for name tags, and reflex on front, back and arms. This jacket has a regular fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good movement while climbing. It also has a longer cut in the back for extra protection. We have been collaborating with NARG since they tested and used our trollveggen Gore-Tex Pro Jacket and Bib in 2010.
